A misnomer of a genre, Lesbian Study feigns academia while actually showcasing women pleasuring each other as an appetizer for the male gaze. In these scenes, the label of 'lesbian' is reduced to a fleeting prelude, a means to get men involved, before the inevitable penetration by a man's penis supplants the female desire and intimacy, diminishing the significance of the lesbian act itself.
